Products and ServicesYour legacy application does not have to wither and die from lack of interest or support. Speedbump Software can fix bugs, add features, provide help-desk and technical support for your users and even port the application to new hardware or another operating system if that's what you decide you want. We prefer to work with the same technology that your application already uses, or at least one that is compatible, so that your application retains a consistent look-and-feel. Your application gets better -- not band-aided. Your data are critically important to your business, so it only makes sense that the quality of your business decisions will be influenced by the quality of your data. Speedbump Software can help you clean, organize and standardize your data and eliminate duplicates (as well as flag potential duplicates). We can also help you analyze your data for relationships that you might not have seen previously. Do you need reports not provided by your application? Once we understand the structure of your data, Speedbump can work with you to develop additional reports to your specifications. The best time to discuss performance is before it becomes an issue. Our experience suggests that a few less-than-optimal design decisions can significantly affect the way an application behaves under real-world conditions. We're available to evaluate your application's performance, to identify likely causes of poor performance and to suggest remedies. Documentation is often missing or out of date. Speedbump can update your existing documentation to bring it current or produce new documention that can serve as a reference for your users. If you have source code (or we can reverse-engineer your application), we can also develop system-level documentation for use by your technical staff. All documentation includes an electronic copy. Speedbump is available to develop training materials for your application as well as to conduct training at your site. All training materials are customized for the way you do business, and emphasize the specifics of how you use the application to support your business.
